• 講題大綱：In mobile systems, users may not want to share their data due to privacy concerns. Besides, user devices are resource-constrained therefore have difficulty executing traditional AI models. Federated learning (FL) is regarded as a promising and emerging technology for mobile systems. In this talk, FL is introduced and its main research directions are discussed, especially for non-Independent and Identically Distributed (non-IID) data. Finally, two research results from our lab will be shared.
• 講者簡歷： 曾繁勛為國立中央大學資訊工程學系博士，現為國立成功大學資訊工程學系副教授。曾博士致力於工程與技術領域之研究，通過2018年科技部年輕學者養成計畫，曾獲2020年中華民國電腦學會傑出青年獎、2021年IEEE台南分會最佳青年專業會員獎、2021中華民國資訊學會李國鼎青年研究獎、2021 EAI會士。現為IEEE台南分會秘書長暨電腦協會分會主席，International Journal of Agile and Extreme Software Development主編，Journal of Computers副主編，IEEE Access、Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences、Journal of Internet Technology、Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing、Journal of the Chinese Institute of Engineers、IET Networks等國際期刊之編輯委員，其主要研究領域涵蓋行動網路、雲端與邊緣運算、物聯網與大數據、人工智慧、機器學習與演化計算。
