-演講主題: Networks That Think: AI-Driven and Context-aware RAN Optimization

-演講摘要: The rollout of 5G/6G has dramatically increased network complexity, while user demand for high-quality, low-latency connectivity continues to surge. Traditional RAN optimization can no longer keep pace with this dynamic environment. The industry is converging on two transformative technologies: O-RAN, which enables disaggregated, interoperable network components, and AI-RAN, which enables real-time, intent-driven optimization decisions.

Yet the power of this convergence remains incomplete without one critical ingredient: context. The most valuable form of context in the RAN is location. Without geolocation, AI can detect what is happening across the network, but not why or where. It sees congestion, but cannot distinguish a stadium crowd from a factory shift change or a coverage gap in a shopping mall.

In this session, we explore how geolocation becomes integral, transforming raw network data into precise, location-aware intelligence and unlocking optimization that is not only automated but truly contextual and user-aware.
